First off, today was Nate's 1 year checkup. Having doc appts always throw us for a loop, mess up Nate's schedule and give me one cranky baby in return. After returning from his appt, Nate appropriately passed out so I called my mom to give her an update on the appt. She asked me to pick her up, I agreed, then we went on to talk about a million other unimportant things. We hang up and I start doing a bunch of stuff, the baby wakes up plays, eats but is so tired and fussy still. I lay him back down since he pretty much missed his first nap and went about doing a few things. So.....
5:00ish rolls around and my phone rings. Its my mom. She wants to know if I am going to pick her up. AWWWW SHHHIIIIT! I totally forgot to pick my mom up from work. Mike was on his way home so we went together (with Nate of course) to pick my mom up. Oops. Daughter of the year right here!!
