The Short Version

So this post will be the short version, some in pics, of my surgery. If you want to read the long version click here.

So I got all dolled up for my surgery complete with my new comfy pants, fuzzy pink socks and my heart tie-dye shirt. You can totally be jelly of my shirt that I dyed myself.

photo (8)We then headed on over to my doctors office to start pre-op paperwork and such. We waited....

photo (9)After signing my life away filling out paper work we headed on over to the SurgiCenter where Mike was given a piece of paper with my special code on it. This code will show on a screen showing which part of surgery I was in

photo (10)I was given a cool wrist band that was scanned no less than 20 times in case, what, someone wanted to do the surgery for me?!

photo (11)While waiting I decided to fake smile (with 29348234 chins) and get a before surgery picture with Mike

photo (12)Mike did a good job of taking pics of my progress on the screen (CSC-2013-973)

photo (18) photo (19)

I told Mike that I wanted him to take a pic of me after surgery so without further ado, here I am in all of my glory

photo (17)Once I got home I took a pic of the one suture site I could see. Please disregard the ugly stretch marks and bloatedness.

photo (22)My dinner since they suggested bland food. I had already eaten every "bland" type of food we had so popcorn it was

photo (16)Other days we had some yummy dinners that were brought over for Mike and I

photo (21) photo (23)And beautiful, bright, colorful flowers that totally made me smile

Ok, the next 2 pics are the pics from the surgery. They are from the doctor and were given to Mike. If you don't like seeing internal pics than I probably wouldn't look but otherwise, enjoy. I am not 100% sure what is going on in these pics but I will get clarification on Friday at my appt.

photo (25)photo (24)And things like this made me smile so much...
