I am in *LOVE* with this face already
7:15 this morning Mike, Nate my mom and I were all at the MFM for my A/S ultrasound. Fingers and toes were crossed for a healthy babe.
An hour and a half later we got the all clear!!
The tech was super thorough during the exam and did not leave one millimeter of this baby unmeasured. And since he was being a little stinker, that was impressive. This baby was mainly head down (YAY! stay that way) but turned toward my back. It made for getting some of the facial measurements or hand measurements hard since he kept playing shy.
She eventually bugged him so much by shaking my stomach that he completely somersaulted and ended up sort of head up but at least we were able to get the rest of the measurements we needed.
She pulled out the internal u/s probe (my old friend) and checked my cervical length and placenta. While she was doing this we could see the baby's head banging against my cervix...yea I feel that all the time...lol.
Good news is that my cervix is still nice and long despite all the braxton hicks I've been having and my placenta is no longer too far down by my cervix which means things are slowly coming into place for my vbac.
Baby is measuring perfectly on point and weighs 9oz. He is also SUPER active which I already knew since I feel him ALL.THE.TIME.
The doctor came in after the u/s tech and did his own brief u/s and basically confirmed everything the tech said about the baby being perfect. He stayed on the heart and said that it looks great. We have a fetal echo scheduled for the 30th but said that since his heart looked great now it should be no different at that appt.
Then at 12:45 Mike and I dropped Nate off at school to begin his pre-k school year. ::tear:: He had a great day with all his friends and so far is doing well without a nap....so far...lol.
So if you got this far, then let me reward you.
Mike and I agreed on a name a few weeks ago and I would like to share that now. I know some of you don't care...but pretend to...lol. Oh and if you don't like the name...oh well. You got to, or will get to name your own kids so don't worry about me naming mine.
I posted a teaser pic of the letterings for babe's name earlier today. These will be hanging above his crib. I love how they turned out. The J.J.C. stands for....
Jackson James Cinderella
Nate loves it and just today asked us if we could spell Jackson so he can write it in his book. ::swoon::
Also, Mike and I scored these awesome organizers today for less than 7 each:
And here are the blankets my neighbor Jessie made me:
Large Blanket (different views of it):
Small Baby Blanket:
Can you see the room theme??
And for your viewing pleasure here are todays pics from the u/s on a disc they gave me. They told me to bring the disc back whenever I have an appt and they will keep adding images to it for me.
in case there was any question as to whether or not he is a boy...
