When did that happen?

Stepping away from my monthly posts to discuss the fact that my baby will be 3 years old tomorrow. This day 3 years ago I was at my parents house lounging around after work because Mike was at a Phillies game. I told Mike he needed to be on alert bc I could go into labor knowing damn well it probably wouldn't happen since I was still in my 37th week. I enjoyed my evening at my parents house (all the while having my dad make fun of my HUGE sausage feet) and Mike enjoyed his Phillies game. He came home and we went to bed. Woke up at 9 the next morning, stood up and my water broke. HA!

3 YEARS AGO!

That sweet baby, who was born the day before Father's Day 2010 is now an intelligent, athletic, inquisitive, rambunctious, (almost) preschooler.

He keeps Mike and I on our toes and, boy oh boy, does this kid talk, talk, talk. He loves his dog Bailey, Thomas the train, playing outside and Target. He can work an iPhone better than I can and is great with his numbers, letters and colors.

He makes me so happy to be his mother and I can't imagine life without him.

Tomorrow for his birthday we are heading to Strasburg Railroad to ride the Thomas train. He is going to freak (hopefully in a good way) and I should have lots of bday pics up.
