So, in an earlier post I said I was doing some big things and I wasn't ready to share them all quite yet. Well I'm ready now. We have officially changed Nate over to cloth diapers. Most of you are probably sitting there saying WTF is she thinking and, honestly, before I would have completely agreed with you. I have read and read and read and talked and talked and talked with people and decided to take a leap and try it out. If it didn't work then I would sell them and go back to disposables. But, we are a week in and I don't regret it for a second. I don't touch any more poop than I would changing his diaper normally but with the added bonus that his butt looks really cute now. And to top it all off, I was able to get a bunch of Fuzzibunz diapers for less than $3 shipped thanks to Amazon and Amazon codes. I love saving money, especially on one income. So, because you all are dieing to see Nate in a cute diaper, here is one from today in his retro black diaper.

Day 57
So every weekend I have all these things I plan on getting done and you want to know how many of them get done. Hardly any. It just feels so nice to sit and enjoy my family. I ran a few errands by myself but other than that I got nothing done I needed to. Oh well. I did manage to figure out how to make a blog button for Wyatt's Warmth from the Heart and how to share the code with others. So, please, if you have a blog and you read this, paste the code on your blog and help us spread the word about CHD's and Wyatt's Warmth.
Day 56
What a shit-ton of rain we got. I didn't believe we were going to get the monsoon they called for since there was blue skies and sun at one point, but boy did things change fast. Not only did it rain, but it thundered and, oh my, was there rain. If our neighbors tree hadn't fallen when it did I'm sure it would have fallen Friday. Our tented (not tented in the winter) gazebo took a dive during the storm. I went out 3 times to try and fix it and all it took was one gust of wind and caboom it went. Their calling for more rain and wind tomorrow. I don't know how much more we can take.

Day 55
Nate and I ran a few errands today and one of them was to go to KMart. Now, I normally avoid this place like the plague but I knew for a fact they had what I needed so I bit the bullet and went. I got what I needed and left. As I am putting Nate's stroller in the back of my car the people parked next to me (empty spot in between us) were loading up their car as well. The lady gets in the drivers side and throws out her empty Coca Cola bottle right into the parking lot. I looked at her to see if maybe it was an accident or maybe she meant to litter. She didn't get out and get it so it was on purpose...oh, ok. So after I got done getting everything put in the back of my car I went over and picked up the bottle which was laying next to her front left tire. The dude she was with said to me "how rude". WHAT?! I said 'excuse me!'. He evidently had nothing to say back because he got into the car. Then the woman rolled down her window and asked me 'do you collect those?'. I'm sorry, seriously?! Who asks that??!! I said 'no, I'm putting it in the trash can where it belongs'. So lesson here, people, you are rude if you pick up someone's trash.
Funny story, huh? Anyways, today was the first time, ever, Nate fell asleep in his Jumper. And to top it off, the only reason I knew he fell asleep in it was because he was snoring so loud. Thats my guy. Following right in the footsteps of his father and brother Bailey.

Day 54
The past couple days have been starts in new adventures and while I'm not quite ready to blog about one of them, I will let you in on this one. I am thinking of making/selling these in my spare time so we will see how things turn out. Can you guess what they are (mom and Mike you don't count)?? If so you can tell me what it is and what it is used for I will send you one when I get things up and running.

Day 53
Today is National Margarita Day. So, Cheers! Yup I'm klassy. Not only can I spell klassy wrong, but I also drink my margaritas out of a wine glass. Booya! Any to the ways, this is going to be short and sweet since Nate has boycotted eating and sleeping all day and he is being quite the pill at the moment. Pizzzzout!

Day 52
So, remember my post where I told you all how bad of a cook I am and how I rely on my crock pot to get me through life? Well, I have majorly failed at life today. I decided to make some baked potato soup in the crock pot. I have made it before and it was delicious!!!! I got everything prepped and ready and put it in the crock pot. A little while later, I realized I added the cream too early. Awww shit! It ended up curdling and ruining my whole batch of soup. So I call Mike at about 1:30, when I realized the soup was a no-go, and I asked him what he wanted as a backup. We decided on my crock pot pork chop recipe since it is one of my favorites. Oh and the best part is, its virtually indestructible. So easy to make. So I get it going and even go in the kitchen a few times to stir everything around. At 4 pm I go in to stir everything around again and I notice the crock pot is on warm not high. Aaarggghhh! I just cooked warmed pork chops for the past 3 hours. I'm going to go ahead and say today was a big cooking fail. Womp-womp!

Day 51
Not much to say tonight. It's a lazy Sunday night here in the Cinderella household. Nate is refusing to eat, sleep, play on his own. Boo! I don't know if he is coming down with something or if his two other top teeth are finally pushing through. I guess only time will tell. Though, on an exciting note, Nate says 'mom'. Accidentally, of course and no relation to me but he says it and it is so cute!!! Here is said tree from last night's fiasco. More pics on Facebook.

Day 50
So my next door neighbor came a knocking on our door today. This is pretty unusual since we are not the kind of neighbors that "chit chat" with each other. A brief wave, a quick hello, those are the kinds of things we do. So when my neighbor came to the door and asked Mike if he could talk to him outside I knew it wasn't good. Rewind back to when Mike and I moved into this house in '08, I quickly noticed a tree caddy corner to the back of our house dead as dead can be. This tree didn't even have a living bug on it. I hated that tree and I couldn't understand why it was never cut down. Now, flash forward to today when the guy next door wants to show Mike this tree and how its leaning towards our houses and swaying uncontrollably because of the extreme wind today. He tells Mike that he has talked to the lady in the past about the tree and she does not have home owners insurance and does not have the money to get it cut down. Oh and its conveniently leaning away from her house so no sweat for her if it falls. So guess what happens...can you guess...can you? The mother beeping tree falls as Mike and I are watching it out our sliding glass door. Thankfully it fell in between the two of our houses and the most damage was not on our property but I still have to call my home owners insurance and make a claim tomorrow and blah blah blah. Thank God no body/dog was hurt. Oh and the clincher is that the lady comes home after it fell and asked what all the commotion was about. Ahhhh!
Well today's pic is of Nate during his 8 month shoot. My guy is getting so big!! 4 more months and we will be celebrating his 1st Birthday.....yay!!!!

Day 49
What a gorgeous day this turned out to be. I took Nate outside and we spent some time sitting on a blanket enjoying the sun. Ahhh, these are the days I live for. Too bad its only February and it'll, more than likely, get cold again. Boo!! Well the weekend is upon us and I hope all my readers (all 4 of you) enjoy your weekend. Don't forget to check out Wyatt's Warmth from the Heart. They are up to 200+ fans and the donations coming in are amazing. The woman heading this operation is amazingly driven and an amazing friend. Wyatt is going to be bring warmth to so many babies out there!

Day 48
Today was such an awesome day. Today was the first time EVER that Nate fell asleep mid "play". One minute he was playing with his toys and the next minute he was passed out on the floor. So, I went over to him, he woke up, laughed and went back to sleep. What a goober. Theeeennnnn, we went to my cousin, Julie's house to go visit with her and baby Lola and he fell asleep on me. What is up with this kid?? That hasn't happened in months but I enjoyed every itty bitty second that he was sleeping on me. For your viewing pleasure today you have Nate and Lola in one of the funny pictures I got of them. This picture pretty much sums up how the day was.

Day 47
Today, Nate and I took a trip to Target. Nate hates shopping so going anywhere and having him not freak out is amazing. We completed our tip successfully in the sense that he did not freak out. Though, I was unsuccessful since I went for certain things and forgot them all once I walked in the door. But, yet, I still spent almost $100. Amazing.
Mike, Nate and I went to a friends house tonight since her daughter turned 1 yesterday. Nate was living it up with his two cougars, Brooke and Harper. He even got many *opened mouth* kisses from Harper. Rawr!
So here is my PSA for the evening:
Please go "like" Wyatt's Warmth for the Heart if you haven't done so already. The organization is taking donations to provide baby leg warmers and blankets to CDH babies in hospitals. There is a donate button on the left if you would like to make a donation to the fund.
Also, less important but pretty exciting:
Please go "like" BabySteals. They are soooo close to 100,000 fans. The company is wonderfully kind and exceptionally awesome and gets so many great products at a steal.
Oh and since I was told that not updating my blog is unacceptable the picture will have to come later. I am taking some pics of my cousins baby tomorrow and I am going to edit and upload todays pic with tomorrows so I will add it on here then.
Edited to add picture of Harper. Happy 1 year 1 day old Birthday, Harper!!!

Day 46
Eh, so I am pretty bummed today was not as beautiful as yesterday was but they promise it's supposed to get better the rest of the week, so we will see. I am craving spring like a pregnant girl craves ice cream!! I took a walk with Nate yesterday and it was awesome to be outside in the sunshine (though it was REALLY windy). So, I know you miss seeing Nate in my blogs, so have no fear, tonight's picture is of my sweet sweet baby boy!!!
Day 45
Happy Valentine's Day
I hope everyone's Valentine's Day was awesome. Mine was good. I spent the day with the best little guy ever then Mike came home and make some cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries...YUMMMMM! I am pretty sure I have gained 5 lbs back just from the past 2 days...oh and the girl scout cookies don't help either. In case you weren't jealous enough from hearing about my chocolate covered strawberries, take a look.
Day 44
Sunday night...the day before Valentine's Day. Mike cooked me my *favorite* meal...fettuccine alfredo. The pound of butter and carton of heavy cream was worth every calorie it had in it because it was AMAZING!!!
AHHHHHH-MAAAAAAA-ZINGGGGGGGGG!

Day 43
Oh, Saturday how I love you. What I do not like is the influx of people out and about making trips out a headache. On a super awesome kick-ass note: when I went to Walgreen's to pick up some pictures I had printed the oh-so-lovely Girl Scouts were posted out front. I'm pretty sure the Big Man up There heard me asking for some cookies the other night and he delivered. I'm not so sure my scale will appreciate the multiple boxes of cookies I bought but who cares. Oh and to top it all off I got the Ultimate Trio from Applebee's and I will be washing it down with a Triple Chocolate Meltdown. Yummm.
Day 42
So, just as I suspected, Nate looks to be getting teeth #5 & 6 in. The poor boy can not catch a break and I feel so bad for him. He seems to be doing better with each one but I know they bother him. Best part is that it'll take them around 2 weeks to come in, so that'll be 2 weeks of pain for him. He has found a new love with a teether I bought him at Target a little while ago. Its a strawberry that vibrates when he bites down on it and now that he knows what to do with it he will sit with it in his mouth for minutes at a time. Its actually quite funny.
Day 41
So, as you can see 11:59pm came and went and I was still awake. No surprise there. It's amazing how I can be dead tired and yet toss and turn for hours at a time. As I sit here tonight I am yawning up a storm. Did you yawn when you read the word yawn...how about now? OK, back to me. As tired as I am now sleep would not happen if I tried to go to sleep now. Ugh, I think I need to take stock out in Unisom...not that it works because I have taken it and it didn't make me any more tired than I was.

Day 40
You know, people never cease to surprise me....ever. Really?! Really?! I wish I could go more into this and not be so vague but now is not the time or the place to open what I am about to start.
Anyway, today I did a brief shoot with Nate in his Valentine's Day outfit and here is one of the pics.

Day 39
There is a lot I want to say today and I will be keeping it to myself. Boo. I know, what fun is that, huh? Instead I will be filling this blog with useless crap you could probably care less about. Like first, my new lens. Fed-Ex was kind enough to drop off my package today on time and in that package held my new 35mm f/2 lens. It seems pretty awesome already. Def heavier than my 50mm 1.8 but I can deal. In the other package was my new Speedlite. Let me tell you how awesome this thing is. I was shooting in horrible light and it was lighting up the whole room. I can't wait to play more with it. Evidently, my new lens and light probed Nate to actually *try* and crawl today. He got himself up on all fours multiple times today. Go buddy, go!

Day 38
4 Months 1 Week and 5 Days
or
18 Weeks and 6 Days
or
132 Days...
Until my baby turns 1 Year Old!or
132 Days...
How could this be happening so quickly and boy do I feel the need to start thinking about his party!! I have 4 months, 1 week and 5 days to plan the best party I can for the best little guy I know.
What theme?
What food?
What kind of cake?
Where?
At least I know the date...phew, one thing off my list!
Oh my wheels are turning!
He is only going to turn ONE once and, though, he may not remember it, the pictures and the memories will be enough!
Day 37
Superbowl Sunday!!! To tell you the truth, I really just wanted to go to my parents house for the food, beer and the halftime show (which SUCKED by the way). Nate did ok, he was a bit fussy since he wouldn't nap there but everyone still loved him anyway. He is such a different baby when people are soft spoken with him and play gently with him rather than when its loud. I think loud noises scare him and piss him off so everyone did a pretty good job at keeping things to a minimum. Anyway, here is Nate watching some football. The kid LOVES the game!!!!
Day 36
Sorry there was no post Saturday. I started feeling pretty icky towards evening and then Mike wanted to watch Inception (by the way, I'm not sure I understood the movie at all). Earlier that day we did watch a movie that I did understand tho...The Dark Knight. Mike and I have managed to watch this movie which is playing 82372982734 times on TV at least 4 times in the past 2 weeks. But whatever...why so serious?! Anyway, later that night Nate woke up crying and when we went in to get him he had his first case of "bed head".

Day 35
Today was a big day for Nate. In case you didn't see one of my 298734728 posts, Nate was on BabySteals today modeling his Babylegs (among other steals he was wearing). He was, by far, the cutest (yes, I am a bit biased but whatever!). Other than that, today Nate had, for lunch, 2 Mum-Mum's with cream cheese on them. He basically licked all the cream cheese off and threw the cracker back at me. Eehhh, I'm sure I would do the same since they kinda taste like poo. Anyway, it was fun cleaning up...ewww.

Day 34
Hmmm, what was I focusing on in this picture? The Canada cup? Actually, no. I was focusing on the Angelcare monitor right behind/beside it because my little guy is wailing on it. I think he has some separation anxiety from Mike since he hardly sees him during the week. That boy will happily and willingly go to bed for me any time but when Mike does it, its the end of the world. Thankfully, he quieted down and is now peacefully sleeping away. And my monitor is tick, tick, ticking away. I PPH this monitor like whoa! Ok, commerical break it done and American Idol is back on. Peace!

Day 32
Happy Birthday Mike!!!
Eh, I would write something thought provoking but One Tree Hill just came on and thats where my attention is going to be. Anyway, enjoy todays pic. We ate them for dinner. I PPH (pink puffy heart) peppers...especially red, yellow and orange ones.
