Day 90

So who woulda thought that ball makin could be so pain inducing. Since I've started, my back has began spasming (which is not too uncommon since I have tons of back issues). But my right arm has really been bothering me. A few years ago I got rear ended by a crazy woman (who happened to hit 3 of us total). I had some issues with my right shoulder for a while and got cortizone injections pretty frequently (I even hit the maximum injections for the year) to relieve the pain. Well, said pain is back and I am not a happy camper. I am hoping some of it is weather induced and will go away when this crummy weather goes away too but only time will tell.

Day 90

I'm a busy busy bee trying to get my order out to the supplier so I have been really slacking in the blogging world. Not only that, I have also, officially, taken the worst picture ever last night for this blog. I was going to take the pic before Mike and I started eating it, but halfway through I realized I forgot to snap the picture. We stopped eating and I took the worlds worst picture ever, out of focus because I was so close to it, the colors are all wrong...WHATEVER. I bet you can't even tell what it is. Oh well, we all have our bad moments.

Day 89

I'm a busy busy bee trying to get my order out to the supplier so I have been really slacking in the blogging world. Not only that, I have also, officially, taken the worst picture ever last night for this blog. I was going to take the pic before Mike and I started eating it, but halfway through I realized I forgot to snap the picture. We stopped eating and I took the worlds worst picture ever, out of focus because I was so close to it, the colors are all wrong...WHATEVER. I bet you can't even tell what it is. Oh well, we all have our bad moments.

I am finally done rolling my 200 balls for my big order!!! It felt so good to get that last one done! I emailed the company they are going to and they are super excited to be getting them. I am going to be introducing 4 different types of dryer balls soon. They are: Nakey, Crazy, Spunky and Funky. Nakey should be up soon and Crazy is the ones already up. I hope to get Spunky and Funky up as soon as I can. Ehh, gotta run. Got much more to accomplish before this night is up.

Day 88

I am finally done rolling my 200 balls for my big order!!! It felt so good to get that last one done! I emailed the company they are going to and they are super excited to be getting them. I am going to be introducing 4 different types of dryer balls soon. They are: Nakey, Crazy, Spunky and Funky. Nakey should be up soon and Crazy is the ones already up. I hope to get Spunky and Funky up as soon as I can. Ehh, gotta run. Got much more to accomplish before this night is up.

Day 87

So, it is not usual for Mike to pull one over on me, but I gotta give the kid some credit for today. He completely blindsided me this morning. He got up as usual, took care of Nate (fed him, etc), got himself ready for work, woke me up when he was about to leave. Nothing new. Except about 15 minutes later I hear someone at the door. First thought that ran through my mind is that I am NOT answering whoever it is...I'm not even wearing a bra! Then all of a sudden Mike pops through the door holding some Dunkin Donuts coffee and donuts. Thoughts began racing through my mind. What are you doing back? Aren't you going to be late for work? I think I spurred off all these questions to him and all he replied back was 'I'm not going in'. Quickly my mind went back to many Lifetime movies where the man no longer had a job and pulled stunts like this making the woman think he took off when he really got fired. Back to reality I came. Mike told me that he scheduled to take off today last week but didn't tell me. What a stinker!!
The rest of the day was spent doing nothing, taking Nate's Easter pics and I rolled more balls. I have about 60 more to go and thank goodness for that since I am rubbing my hands raw.
Edited to add a funny story: So today there were some people coming around selling stuff door to door. They knocked on the door and Mike answered. They asked Mike if his parents were home. HAHAHA.

Day 87

Ok, so can I tell you how many CRAZY ASS PEOPLE there are in this state?! There was a children's consignment sale going on today at 8:30am. I picked my mom up around 7:30, got to the event around 7:45 and you wouldn't believe the line to get in. I so wish I had brought my camera so I could take pics of all the crazies sitting outside in freezing temperatures. My mom and I sat our bumpkins in the car until about 8:15, got in the insanely long line and waited the 20ish minutes until we got inside. We got a few decent sales but nothing spectacular.
Later on Mike and I packed Nate up and we headed to the mall to take my rings in to be resized. We attempted this last weekend and my forgetful self did not bring the paperwork with me...a-duh! We went in and the lady I dealt with was so much better than the dude I got last time. He made me get a size too big (after I had the baby) and the woman was disgusted that my rings were 2 sizes too big because of him. I am so happy that I should have my rings back in about 2 weeks!!

So I didn't get a chance to do my blog on Friday because Mike and I were catching up on our last season of Dexter. It was getting soooooo good...then the program that we were watching it on told us we watched something like 75 consecutive minutes of video and we needed to wait 30 minutes...FAIL!
Earlier that day,Nate and I joined our friend, Jenn, for our (usually) weekly luncheon. This time we went to Cheeseburger in Paradise where I happened to order a cajillion dollars worth of food, lose my wallet, and find my wallet all in less than an hour. I asked Jenn to hold Nate while I got myself together and got my coat on (since it decided to be winter again) and I fully intended on him freakin out since thats what he does with people he is unfamiliar with lately. But, instead, he went right to her and snuggled right with her, laying his head right down on her shoulder...and he stayed like that for EVER. Neither Jenn nor I knew what to do and I was afraid to make any sudden movements as it might cause him to freak out. He ended up staying like that for what felt like forever since we were awkwardly standing in the restaurant but he eventually put his arms back out to me. Ugh, that kid melts my heart!!!
Anyway, the Easter bunny came early here at the Cinderella household. But he ran away. =(

Day 84

So, it is official! My wrist finally hurts from making so many dryer balls. I am halfway done my order...halfway to go (duh, obviously!). I am excited to get them done and shipped off so I can see what will come of them. It's going to suck...a lot...if they don't sell well. Especially when, today, I paid someone to make me a custom logo and Etsy banner. Now, if only I could get someone to make my website for me, that would be great. I feel like if I do it myself it will look like a 1st grader did it....though with kids nowadays I'm sure a 1st grader could build an awesome website. Whatevs...I need to stop rambling and roll more balls.

Today Nate went to his 9 month well visit. He is now 28 inches long and weighs 19.5 pounds. I was talking to Dr. K about his lack of bottles and not wanting to drink formula. If you don't know, Nate is down to 2 bottles a day (morning and night) and a sippy throughout the day. I was just concerned that this amount wasn't enough to sustain him. But since he is gaining weight properly, she is not concerned. And she was impressed that he doesn't want bottles and commented on how easy it will be to be rid of them by 1 year old. Anyway, Mike and I are trying to order some Chinese (the real kind, Cat!) so I'm gonna cut this short. Take note of my nicely manicured piggies in the pic. =)

Exhausted! That is what I am after chasing Nate all over my living room today. He is a man on the move! The most awesomest (you like that wording, don't ya?!) thing about him being on the move is that when he wants me or wants to sit with me, he just crawls up to me and pulls up on my legs. Like today, for instance, when I came into the living room with a Twizzler. The kids eyes lit up and he crawled so fast over to me. I gave him a couple 'bites'. And by bites I mean he licked the end of the Twizzler. That kid is awesome!!!

Day 81

Exhausted! That is what I am after chasing Nate all over my living room today. He is a man on the move! The most awesomest (you like that wording, don't ya?!) thing about him being on the move is that when he wants me or wants to sit with me, he just crawls up to me and pulls up on my legs. Like today, for instance, when I came into the living room with a Twizzler. The kids eyes lit up and he crawled so fast over to me. I gave him a couple 'bites'. Sorry I am slacking on my blogging/picture sharing. I am knee deep in balls as of right now. I am still taking my daily photo (though they are mostly of Nate bc he is doing so many awesome things lately) but I promise I will get some pics of other stuff eventually. I thought this picture was cool yesterday when he did this consistently that afternoon. Today, I am not finding it so cool as he has now pulled himself up on all his toys, the couch, the ottoman, the TV stand, Baileys dog cage...etc.

Today was the day we un-babyfied (yea, I made that word up) our living room and toddler proofed it. All the baby items went into storage and our two gates became our best friend. Uncle Matt came to visit Nate and saw his crawling in action...yay!! PS-thanks for the peanut M&Ms Matt. We had a semi-successful trip to the mall today. We only had a few meltdowns during the trip. Nate got the most adorable outfit from the GAP. But I think the Easter bunny is going to give it to him for Easter. Sorry for the crummy 9 month pics. I swore I was going to do a better shoot but I am not realizing how late it is because of the time change and my days are still all confuzzled.

Day 78

Today Nate turned 9 months old (I forgot to take his 9 month photos today so see tomorrow). I can't believe how slowly 9 months goes by when you are pregnant and, yet, 9 months FLEW by now that he is here. He is learning so much so quickly its unbelievable. We have our 9 month checkup on Wednesday (I think). I'm hoping Nate will be 20lbs by then but its doubtful. Anyway, I got Mike involved in my ball making process last night. He was not too happy about it and kept complaining because the yarn kept on tangling. Funny. Anyway, I went with my friend Kaitlin, for a pedicure (much needed if you saw my post from 1-2 months ago) and let me tell you how GREAT my feet feel now. Thanks Kaitlin!!!

Sun, warmth, a kid to love, a husband, and a barky dog. Mike got to come home a bit early today and we packed up and went to the park. I'd rather be fulfilling orders than running stupid errands anyway! Thank you to everyone who placed an order for CrazyColorfulWools yesterday and today. I have 7 orders total, 5 to get shipped and 2 local pick ups! Oh and you want to know a little secret?? So Saturday was the first time, in a very long time, Mike and I stayed out past 9pm. We went out with friends to a beef Irish food and beer. I have to admit that despite being the youngest table in there by, oh 30 years, it was a ton of fun. Between the Mad Hatter (see pic), Silver Fox, Deacon Drunk and many many others, this night was one to remember. Not to mention getting the side eye from the entire bar we went to afterwards. It was a great beginning to a bday celebration (even though, as I previously stated, we hardly celebrate bdays around here). So without further ado, I introduce the Mad Hatter during his performance of "I'm too Sexy"....

So, today I had the luxury of going to the DMV to renew my license. Now, the rest of Delaware gets to renew their license at 25, but since I had to change my name a few years ago I get to go a year later than everyone else. So, Mike took a half(ish) day and off to the DMV I went. I scoped out the video cams before I went and it looked like it was gonna suck but I had to go anyway. So, I get there and its all set up different. I take my number and have a seat. 25 people ahead of me, great! So I pull out my Kindle and start reading. Luckily, the were going through numbers pretty fast. Finally I was called up to window 17. I hand the guy all my stuff (they require your first born to get a new license now), sign my signature, take my pic. He is finalizing everything and his system crashes. Just my luck. So he escorts me over to the first window and told me that that gentleman would help me after he was done with his customer. Well, his customer happened to be a kid getting his very first license so it took FOREVER. Does the kid want to be an organ donor...does he want to register to vote? All of these he had to confer with his mother on what to say. Finally, finally, finally, they're done and I am called. The guy was SUPER nice and despite my agitation for having to stand awkwardly in the middle of nowhere for 30+ mins, I maintained my p's and q's. This guy actually put me in a good mood by the time I left...and boy was I happy to be getting out of there. I am now the proud owner of a ridiculously looking, stern faced Delaware license.

What a horribly, gross, bland, gray, windy, rainy day. Yuck! I feel so unproductive today because of this weather. Whatever. So, if you have the pleasure of knowing me in person, than you know that I love bags. So, it was only fitting that I like diaper bags as much as I do purses. My fav right now is Ju Ju Be. Below is my semi-small collection of bags. Oh and I just got a FB update that says to check Babysteals tonight for more Ju Ju Be. Ut-O!!!

Sorry for no blog yesterday, I just wasn't feeling up to it. I did, however spend the day with some peeps who made my day go by faster than usual. For this I am thankful. Some days, as a SAHM drag on. Where is spring?! I want to take Nate outside in the stroller or take him to the park.

Day 69

What a horribly, gross, bland, gray, windy, rainy day. Yuck! I feel so unproductive today because of this weather. Whatever. So, if you have the pleasure of knowing me in person, than you know that I love bags. So, it was only fitting that I like diaper bags as much as I do purses. My fav right now is Ju Ju Be. Below is my semi-small collection of bags. Oh and I just got a FB update that says to check Babysteals tonight for more Ju Ju Be. Ut-O!!!
Edited to add: I love this font that I have on here. I hate that my exclamation points looks like a bunch of l's. Please note that if you see a word that looks to have an L at the end its probably an exclamation point...lol.

Day 68

Sorry for no blog yesterday, I just wasn't feeling up to it. I did, however spend the day with some peeps who made my day go by faster than usual. For this I am thankful. Some days, as a SAHM drag on. Where is spring?! I want to take Nate outside in the stroller or take him to the park.

Day 67

Today, at 8.5 months old, my baby learned to sit!!! Some of you may be a little confused as to why I am happy my baby is sitting at 8.5 months so let me explain a little better. In actuality, Nate has been sitting unassisted since about 4.5 months. Today, we were trying really hard to get crawling down. Nate would move his legs and then get confused as to when to move his arms. He would eventually give up and belly flop. Well in his determination he realized that he can push himself up while on his hands and knees, swing his legs around from back to front and push himself to a sitting position. I can now say that there is very little chance of him crawling now since every time he gets on all 4's he pushes himself into a sitting position. But, boy is he proud of himself!! And I am proud of him too! Since learning his new trick, my little booger has learned how to sit in his crib now. This makes for an interesting nap and bed time.
