I just got back from my 'last meal' dinner. Mike took me and Nate to my most favoritest place in the whole wide world...Border Cafe. I ate like 2.5 bites and couldn't stomach anything else but it was nice to get out. I also want to give a big up to anxiety meds...without them I wouldn't even be able to form a coherent sentence.
Tomorrow morning may be the longest morning of my life. I didn't have ANY anxiety about my delivery with Nate. Not even when they told me it would be a c section and they wheeled me into the OR yet I am having panic attack after panic attack over tomorrow.
Anyways, I'll catch you all on the flip side where I will be resting in bed with my arsenal of stuff I bought to keep me happy as well as my Kindle.

D-Day
Alright folks! Surgery is set for February 22nd at 12:30. I have to be at the doctors office for pre-op at 10:30 then I head on through the building to the SurgiCenter. No food or drink after midnight so it's looking like it's going to be one very long morning.
Right now I feel nervous and excited.
Nervous because, while its an outpatient surgery, it's still surgery. And I'll be put under anesthesia which I never have been before. I'm nervous about the recovery but thankful they remembered I wanted the surgery on a Friday so I wouldn't have to chase Nate around by myself the days after. I'm nervous about what he may find in there and I can't help but think that the c-section left things disheveled. I'm also nervous about him not being able to clear my tubes out. I'm also nervous about waiting around before surgery. I think I'm going to need some strong drugs or a sedative in my IV beforehand. Yes, I am that kind of a hot mess.
I'm excited that this may be the beginning of a beautiful thing. I am hopeful and I pray that this will be the start of good news and a healthy pregnancy to quickly follow.
I pray for good news and a quick recovery and if you can spare some prayers I'd appreciate them too.
T minus 9 days and some odd hours and counting.
